The brief was to make the look and feel of the London’s Garden museum younger, whilst also keeping the current slightly older audience aesthetically pleased. My inspiration was found in the Victorian reconstruction of the building, a former church, in 1851. Combining the royalty free images from the British Library of plants and flowers published around that time together with a contemporary colorful gradient unifies the old and the new, which is emphasized by the pairing of a serif
and sans serif.
